I have a client that has a comdial unisys system. I've never worked on this unit b4. He wants me to install a phone that can only dial out on line 3 and not ring to line 3. I don't know how to program the phone to do that & would appreciate any advice anyone has on this?

Hmm, I think you mean Comdial Unisyn?
Look in your manual for an "Access Denied" feature. It prevents the programmed stations from seizing the lines you select. Then use the "Prime Line" feature to assign Line 3 as the prime line for that station. Then, simply do not assign any ringing to the station. Simple.

Edited thread title (changed from Unisys to Unisyn), for search purposes.
