When a call goes into voicemail, It gives two quick rings after ringing the phone. Is there any way to disable that when DND is activated. It kind of defeats the purpose of a DND.

Thanks in advance.

Jeff

That alerting signal is your que that your greeting is being played, it can't be disabled.

You're right. You can't actually disable it, unless it can be done on the voicemail side. The feature is called VM Monitor Time, under Timing. Its settings are from 10 seconds (default) to as high as 60 seconds. I will often bump it up to 20 seconds, to give them a little extra time to get to it. 10 seconds seems a bit short if you're not right on top of the phone.
