Does anyone know if there is a way to setup another "night mode" button at the supervisors station? Currently we have a button assigned "Night Mode" which is pressed when the receptionist leaves the office for the day.

She would like to setup another button that when pressed during her lunch hour, all calls will get directed to a "lunch greeting" mailbox.

I think I have successfully created the routing box for the Lunch Greeting, but I am unsure on how to create the button on her phone to enable this.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank You

Typically a "Night Mode" button on a 'supervisor' or 'attendant' station simply redirects the ringing assignment to go directly to the voicemail group for off-hours answering. The voicemail unit itself is responsible for Day, Night, and Lunch Service (either based on a programmed schedule, or manually changed in the supervisors menu). If you engage your "night" button during the day...the voicemail would pick up immediately, but it would still play the day greeting. I don't think you can program a button to put the voicemail into Lunch service mode. You must change this from Supervisors menu.

Sorry for my ignorance I inherited the acient system.......so when the night mode button is pushed during the day or at lunch, it will refereance the schedule set on the supervisor menu, so if I program the lunch greeting to run between the hrs of 12:00-13:00 and the night mode button is pushed during that hr time slot it will play the lunch greeting assigned to a specific mailbox?

Correct, if you program the lunch greeting to play, engaging the Night Mode button will still result in the lunch greeting being played. Night button just directs the ringing to the voicemail.

Excellent...Appreciate the help.

Once I assigned a time to the lunch service, when the night mode button was pushed during that time it directed calls to the assigned mailbox. After the specified time it went back to the daily mailbox. Exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks again.
