We have a DX80 with Corporate Office VM and also have the admin software. What we've been trying to figure out is how to have a dialed party's extension go right to voice mail and not ring anywhere. Alot of these people are "outside sales" and just need voice mail. So after you hear "If you know your party's extenstion....", and they dial say 110, there is no physical phone with ext 110, it would just go right to their VM.

Which admin software do you have? Are you an enduser or installer? What is your experience level? There is a lot to go wrong unless you're sure of what you're doing.

I am an end user, but I basically have configured the entire system with routing boxes, call/hunt groups, etc. I'm very comfortable with the software - Corporate Offce DX 8.5

set the transfer type to no transfer and it will go right to the greeting

An end user can do it from the options menu in the mailbox, select voicemail instead of the extension number.
