I can only answer for QSIG which was dropped because you could not use Comdial networking and QSIG simultaneously. If you had several Comdial switches networked and you wanted to add a different product ALL Comdial switches had to drop to QSIG. I don't think it was ever used by anybody. The last PMD that I wrote was for Rel. 17 common code. It was released after I left and is very different than what I had written in the PMD. Rev. 15 was the last release that I think was any good. It would have been the best if I could have gotten the increase in ARS entries in that release.

What does PMD stand for?

Oh, throw the DX80 board in with the list of dropped concepts.

One other I'm trying to remember. A serial board, or something...not a COM board, but one that was released, was in the price book back in the FXT/FXS days, but I never really learned what the heck it was for. Does anyone know what I'm trying to think of?

I believe it was the SC Bus board that I was trying to think of. What the heck was that used for anyway?
