I need to add a pri to a DXP. I know PRI's, installed over a dozen on Mitel but never installed one on the Comdial DXP. The dxp has a DXCPU-68K DXRAM-EXP68K REV.C 4-98 DXPSW-DLR REV 9C. Will this support a PRI? I know I need the DXPT1-PRI card and the DXPOPT-SYN card, anything else? If not will it support a T1? Thanks

Putting a T-1 in a DXP with 9C may be difficult. You need a DXAUX board to support the DXOPT-SYN card and it has a dedicated slot. The T-1 board will only work in specific slots and if the cabinet is very old it will not be marked properly. Also, while the board will take up one slot physically it will take 2 slots software wise and no card can be used in that other slot. The slots you can use with that software are line 2, or univ. 5, 8,and 12. This software will not support PRI

Thanks, It does have a UNIV slot labeled T1 and it does have an aux card. Does it take a specific aux card to support the DXOPT-SYN?
