Is there any way to perform a self-test on the DX-80 phones like you could do with the older Comdial phones. (Something that lights up all the lighted buttons for testing)

No, not like the old units did. If you do a search of this forum using "self test" you will get some links but none that provide info on that kind of test for the 120 or 80 but some that you might find helpful. It was really only an led test anyway, not really very usefull.
