I don't know about the best prices, but Mike Sandman is the best place to get stuff like this in small quantities. Try www.sandman.com and I think they will be able to get you what you want. I am curious though, if you are looking for a piercing pin that will get through a shield, wouldn't the signal be shorted out once the pin makes contact with the core conductor? I assume that you are speaking of parallel drop wire or older inside wiring cable with thicker SHEATH (the plastic/cloth part) and not SHIELD which is a metallic shielding that surrounds the core of the cable. Am I on the right track here in my assumption?

its for our old single pair drops.. they are supposed to reseal themselves.. you are on the right track with your conclusions.
i work in an area with a lot of very old cabling and service feeds.. hence the need for the piercing pin.

Then your best bet for them is Sandman for these clips. I thought when you mentioned shield, you were referring to shielding as in Coax!

I don't know if they still have any, I got a bunch from allelectronics.com at $3.50 per pair. No piercing pin, though. They also had some with 46 inch wires attached for $5. per pair.
Joe --- No trees were harmed as a result of this posting; however, many electrons were severely inconvenienced.
