Does anyone have access to a supplier or maybe you have some analog red telephones. I would need these telephones to have the ability to wall mount or desk mount, depending on the application. We need them for dialing out purposes in the event of an emergency. I do not need the ones that dial 911 only. We need these phones to have a dial pad so they can randomly dial any number they want.
thanks

ITT/Cortelco still makes them, but they are either desk-only or wall-only (2500/2554 models). Target Distributing (800-873-5528) stocks them.

I don't think anyone makes a desk/wall phone in red, but you might want to try Southern Telecom (800-752-1107). They produce several lines of specialty phones.

I got a cheap phone for my room from Wal-Mart. Happened to be orange (one of my favorite colors), they had several colors. Cost me 5 bucks!

I was at a ham radio swap meet in Ontario on this past Saturday and there was guy selling them. Talk about irony, he had desk and wall phones and they were all red, must have had about a dozen each of them. He was asking $3.00 each (they were knock-offs of the 2500/2554). I had one in my hand, but I couldn't think where I would ever use them.

Where in Canada are you from GregB?

Man I just saw some red ones on this website I ran across the other day: www.phonegeeks.com

One of the red phones can be found here:

smile

I think I saw others on there too, but it might have been on one of the other websites they run. See their link to their other websites.

Hey, Jeff, if you want some orange housing kits for 2500 and 2554 sets, I have them! We also have other popular colors such as harvest gold, avacodo green, baby blue and the ever-popular BROWN. If you want one, I'll give it to you. I might even still have some of the matching cords.

Thanks GregB for letting us know how things turned out for you. So many times, we bust our butts to help someone with an answer and we never hear from them again. I am forever dragging out manuals or catalogs to come up with answers myself. It's not that any of us here are looking for praise, but it is kind of nice to know if we were actually able to help.
