On an E80PT I am trying to add two lines L18 and L23 to station 10, which has a large DSS (sta. 11). The programming seems to take (showing up with laptop); however, the user cannot access the lines. At least one line (L18) is flashing and ringing on incoming, but when she tries to access it, she gets the "beep" as if line is in use. I also tried to add the lines to the DSS but I can't recall which buttons on the DSS are fixed and which can be programmed.

If you have a 70 button console, the first 64 buttons starting at the bottom left are for stations! The last 6 are non-functional. No lines!!
Check your access denied and/or call origination programming.
