I have a serious problem. The voice mail on all phone extensions is no longer working, exception extension 10 which is still working as normal. I was testing the CFOS (call forwarding feature) and accidentally made changes that corrupted the voice mail feature.
I played around with the hunt group and may has messed up voicemail. I don't remember making other changes, but possible could have made other mistakes too.
Problem: When a caller calls and dials an extension, the phone rings as normal. When the attendant doesn't pick up, the phone says "I'm sorry, that is not a valid entry" and it brings me back to the main menu while allows me to dial other extension. While it should have gone to voicemail if I am unavailable. The phone still goes to voicemail if the person is busy, but not when the person is unavailable. This seems to be the only feature that is broken.
I have tried the HUNT GROUP and linked my extension to itself, but don't think I'm doing it right or maybe that's not the prob. From master phone extension 12, I use configuration 53 18, then pressed "1818" to link extension 18 to 18, but it didn't fix it.
Please advice on how I can fix this issue. Thanks very much.

What voice mail do you have? It could be several....if I were you I would call your vendor. We might be able to help in the mean time, but a system model would be helpful. Check you original contract, or failing that, look on the voice mail box/computer/grey half moon shape and get any numbers off of it, or at least describe it and we can ID it for you. Steve

The model of the box is WI-STAR150. According to our computer system which monitors the phone system, it is a Small OFFICE-Lite Call Processing System version 8.5. I hope this helps.

The level of tech support you will need is beyond the scope of this forum which is ment to serve end user level needs. You need a qualified tech, these are not "plug and play" systems. Mark
