WTB a straight line ringer. Like the 2500 bells in the box. (147 OBA ? was the ITT number I think) Or the switchable Bell/Chime that NT made, number was QCY1A1 or something like that. Gotta prove to the CLEC that their channel bank won't ring a standard 1.0 REN bell. John C. (Not Garand)

just a thought but stop by a second hand shop , flea mkt etc and pick up a 500 or 2500 for a few bucks
I regularly buy 2500's for less than $5.00 and carry a few in the back of the truck for testing

Yeah, but the straight line ringer in a box looks so much neater than balacing a 2500 set and keeping it onhook, never mind when the handset falls off on the way thru the door and you juggle everything else trying to regain control. And I'm thinking that 147 OBA was the box part number and then with bells included it was 147 MBA (?) I'll bet Ed has a warehouse full, wonder if he's still at work. Guess I'll e-mail him and ask.
