Want to buy K403A music on hold card and the one or two slot adapter socket to plug it into.
I have an ITT 501 KSU, so a compatible alternative is fine, need 5 line capability

Since I didn't grow up in Bell territory and I was a SAN/BAR dealer, I used the SB4200 and 4201 combo. All you had to do was break the power multiple on pins 3&18 (or use a San/Bar cabinet) and you had MOH. https://www.telephonecollectors.inf...p;task=cat_view&gid=193&Itemid=2 I probably still have a couple of sets of cards in the warehouse.... I was starting to come to that conclusion.
Making unwanted callers listen to bad music is half the fun of having a hobby pbx system.
Carl, would the standard K400E line cards work with a SB4201 music source? The K401 has individual line isolation transformers and if I am reading the Sanbar 4200 manual right, the isolation was in the 4200 line card not the source. the k401 was essentially just a mixer to isolate the music signals from one another.
thusly: Beep line cross communications between all my bill collectors and relatives on hold. not a good idea to encourage them to compare notes with one another.

I think I have the MOH card I just have to find it if you still need it used it when installing system just plug it in to a 1a2 system
