Hope I can jog someones memory here.

I have an FX II that has been chugging away for about four years. I just found out the other day the receptionist has been setting the clock a couple times a week since it was installed.

It seems I remember there was an issue with the clock chip in some of the cpu's but I have been all over the CCC and cant find anything.

Am I hallucinating or does anyone else remember this?

I have the same issue with one of my FXII's. I know the bulletin your speaking of but my clock chip was the newer version. We would remote in on a daily basis to set the clock. Sometimes it would be fine for days and other times it would run slow in an hour. I actually think a station may be grounded and is affecting it. Otherwise, the system runs perfect with a PRI, sixty sets and vm.

It's the version of the ServicesII board. There is an after market company that has an inexpensive program that installs on a PC and dials the Atomice clock daily and adjusts time accordingly.

Does this program you speak of that runs on a pc actually update the clock on the FX II? Im thinkin there just might be a 'puter right close to the switch that I could use if this is the case.

Also do you know what revs are affected on the services board?

Yep. The PC has to have a modem with a single line port off of the FX. I'll try to find the bulletin for the SRVII board with clock fix.

I'd like to see that utility when you find it.

I have a DX-120 with a similar problem, although not as critical (consistently losing about 5 minutes per month). Is there a similar solution for that system?
