Hello all, We have an Interchange that when booted not all of the KVT services start up automatically even though they are set for automatic in the services. Has anyone experienced this before? If so what was your workaround?
Thanks

Could be multiple reasons. Did it run fine for awhile and this just started? Need more info.

Gdbeam, any update on this? If you come asking for help, it helps us help you if you can respond when someone makes a suggestion or requests additional info. Otherwise, the bulletin board process fails to work.
Thanks!
Justin

Yes the system has been functioning for around 2 years with no issues. We have created batch file to reboot the PC nightly due to the issues of the onhook acknowledgment error. This is how we found that the services were not staring up after reboot. Sifting through logs on the PC I am wondering if it is being caused by Microsoft update recently installed.
Thanks

Have you looked in the Event Viewer or voicemail's error.log (in c:\vm or vmstart.log in c:\) for reasons? What happens when you try to start the service manually? Will it fail? How about when you run startvm.cmd (assuming it contains correct entries, and excludes Dialogic services). Justin

I am not sure if the update is causing the issue?

I have not looked in the vmstart.log, good call. Error.log is clean.
Starting the services manually in the correct order or using the startvm and stopvm command works correctly.
I have adjusted the recovery options within the services to try more than once when fails.
Until we find the root cause I have killed the batch file to restart the machine nightly.
