I want an unanswered call on line 3 (dir. # 742) to forward to station 124's mailbox instead of the main menu. Seems like you have to change something in the trans.txt file but I can't remember. Thanks for any suggestions!!

The easy way is to ring it to a ucd group with the members being whatever phones you want to ring then "overflow 1" set it to 124 and set the re-route to 433. When it hits 433 it will have the recall ID of 124 and land in that mailbox if 124 doesn't answer. You will have to mess with the time setting for the group and the overflow, usually 10 or 12 in each works good.

Mark, that's definitely an interesting way of going about it. But hey, if it works I'm sure not going to knock it. I can see the reasoning behind it: you can accomplish all of that from the phone, without pulling out the laptop to connect to the voicemail and edit the trans.txt.

That's funny, for some reason I didn't even think of the trans.txt :)It would look like this in the trans.txt file piff.
