Has anyone ever seen this: Call into voice mail to check messages from your extension, voice mail answers and prompts for password, then doesn't respond to anything dialed. It's like it's not hearing any digits. Call in from an outside line and everything works fine. I have a DXP 15A and Corporate Office 8.5 DOS with digital boards. Thru Dialing is set to YES for the VM ports. Tried defaulting and re-programming VM ports, changing ports, power cycle on VM and KSU. Someone suggested upgrade to DXP software. Why would the system hear digits from outside but not from inside? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this something that just started happening on a previously working set up? What was the most recent change?

New VM on an existing DXP to replace an analog Keyvoice that failed. The old VM was 8.2 and did not have this issue.

Are the VM ports set up correctly in the VM integration table in the PBX? Outside callers will get DTMF to the VM, but unless the the VM ports are in the table, the PBX won't send PO DTMF from internal stations to the IVPC cards. Just a WAG. Also, 15A should support soft keys, make sure the right EXTs are assigned to the right VM ports.
