I need some help guys. I have a dxp 15b software with a PRI and its network to a fxt224 15b software. What I want to do is do a hunt group on the fxt224. I want to have a DID line ring that hunt group and go one phone and then another and so on. My problem is that I set up the hunt group and when you dial the ext hunt group it works great but it doesn’t ring form the DID line. Found out that the 15b had a problem with the incoming calls doing this. Does anyone know how to trick the system and make this work without getting new software for both switches? Could we put that ext on the phone btn mapping and will it ring the phones when the DID ext rings. they are all digital sets impact 12btn lcd

Did program in the DID translation to point to your group number?

yes the ext 503 is the hunt group and its a did line and everything is program there.

Try creating a pilot group. Then add the extensions you want to ring and point your DID to this pilot number.

I try that and didn't work what can we try next

OK, so you create a pilot group say 5001. You add in extensions you want to ring and you set the ring all function. You go into DID translation and set 5001 as your target.

That right i made the pilot group 503 and put all the ext in that group. set the did and it will not ring that group of phones. when you dial the ext 503 the group does what the group was set up to do.

let ask a nother question it i put that ext on all the phones will they ring on each phone if i btn map it to each ext? they will take that

If all calls are coming in on the PRI on the DXP and the hunt group is on the FXT it will not work across the network. What you could do is assign the DID to the first extension with a couple of group intercoms in the intercom hunt list, give each extension that you want to ring group intercom access to the first extension group intercom and button map to the additional exts.

We need to know more info like which one is the hub and which one is the node. Are you using net boards or PRI. I see no reason why this should not work if configured correctly.
Also I would suggest taking this topic into the installers area.
