I've recently been asked to maintain a DX-120 with integrated voicemail. I've been supporting Inter-tel, Norstar, and Nortel Succession (Option Series) for many years. So this is the first time I've been asked to step down to such a little switch...
I've picked up a book for the system and everything there is going fine, my trouble is with the voicemail. I can not find a System Admin Mailbox for this and the default listed in the book does not exist in this system.
Do I have the wrong book? Did the original installer (who went out of business) change the admin mailbox...? Am I just a DA and can get the right book for this voicemail... All good questions, anyone willing to help out, I'd be more than happy to exchange my Big Switch Knowledge...
TIA

Supervisor mailbox is 70 by default...installers typically (and should) change the default password. You should get yourself set up with Keylink and a serial cable to proceed, unless you don't mind re-imaging the card back to factory default, losing all boxes and greetings in the process.
If you ask the system for mailbox 70 and it says its an invalid box number, I would rather start from the beginning and set the darn thing up correctly.
