Here lately, the last 6 or 8 systems I've installed with voice mail seem kinda quirky on power up. Until lately when you powered one up it beeped once or twice like a normal boot up....but now it beeps about a dozen times like something is wrong before it boots up. Is this normal or just the way it is?

it couold be the vmail just getting the time from the ksu and doing a restart. it will cycle if the time channges more than 24 hrs I believe.

Make sure the time in the Voicemail is correct. Also move the jumper for screen redirect and log in on Comm 2 so you can view the boot process with Hyper Terminal easier.
