We have a comdial debut 2 port system that within the last few weeks has gone to zero message minutes remaining. There are no new or saved messages in the system and I don't think any of our employees have the ability to record conversations. Now, with no minutes, the system will not kick into voice mail and I get all kinds of errors when I log in through the serial port, including: 3203, cdtabase.dvm; 4902, Bdtabase.dvm; 0919, bdtabase.dvm; 7704, msgsched.

Two questions - anything I can do to fix this? Second, I am prepared to dump the debut voicemail but not the impact system yet because we can not afford a bunch of new phones. Is there another 2 port analog system out there that would be compatible with the impact ksus (black box, not grey box) we have?

Thanks for any input.

Do a message audit to delete corrupt mailbox info. There are also mailboxes that aren't directly related to sets that may be full...you wouldn't know that unless the voicemail comes up fully and you can see all mailbox message info.

bccgolf,

I am not familiar with the error codes you specificed. However, I can look them up if necessary.

But first, another suggestion would be to confirm that the logging is turned off. If it's on, turn it off and delete the log files. If I recall correctly, they are located in the "Log" sub-directory. Let me know if you need additional information in this regard.

Anyway, at times a technician will enable logging, usually to assist in trouble isolation, and then forget to disable it after the trouble has been resolved. This eventually results in the storage being completely consumed by log files.

Good luck and please let us know if we can assist further!
