Hi, has anyone installed a New Interchange with a Tadiran or Avaya Legend system lately. I have clients that need upgrade, but Vertical sales that they have not tested it as of late and Tech Support won't support it. Please advise. Thanks.

It's been a while since I've worked on one behind a Legend. I doubt much has changed. I know the integration notes haven't. Comdial pretty much stopped supporting their voicemails on any system but their own (and sometimes, unfortunately, I think that's even a stretch).

Out of curiosity, why not use the manufacturer-specific voicemail? I would think the integration would be tighter, although you may not get the feature set you get from the Interchange. I would think the support would be better, though.

There are a few different manufacturers running in front of the Comdial VM's we have deployed out there. Our clients are very familar with the Key Voice system and prefer them. It does look like we are probably going to have to look for a diffrent VM manufacturer for these systems.

I have always had good support from Comdial, although we don't usually call in a lot. Are deployments have been successful. The issue is that Comdial/ Vertical's Interchage is on Win XP Service Pack 3 and is not being tested and will not be.
