Does anyone have any experience loading Interchange to run on a machine running Win2K3 Server? We've done many installs of the Interchange product, but pretty much always on the Comdial/KeyVoice supplied box and operating system.

I have a customer with an existing Interchange system running on one of Keyvoice's small "rack mount" servers and it uses the Windows 2000 Workstation operating system. Customer really wants to keep using the system, but they have a "corporate mandate" to remove all Win2k boxes from their network by the end of the year.

Customer would be happy to buy a new unit, but would prefer it come on Win2K3 Server instead of the XP operating system Comdial is currently selling.

Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks, Bob.

rfrantik, I would think support on the W2K3 Server would be similar to support on the XP box. Comdial made the later software to work on XP, and I thought the XP OS and the 2003 Server OS were similar. Still, I understand the comfort level you might get from someone who's already walked down that path.

Have you made the attempt yet?

It should work. Win2K3 isn't any different. Your issues( if any ) will be more related to Dual Message Store on newer versions of outlook/exchange (2007/2008). You have to use the console to activate snmp/Imap for DMS. If your use plain jane VM, shouldn't be an issue.
