Just my opinion, but I would upgrade it to something newer and a bit more servicable. Even if you found another 486dx/2 now, you will have to deal with this problem again when it fails in the futre. If you don't want to buy new, there are scads of P4's on the used and refurbished market right now. Many of them have XP pre loaded.
