I have lost my password for system mailbox 70 (Comdial DX-80). I need to make several changes, but cannot get access. Can anybody help?

You'll have to login to the system with a laptop and use the admin program to see what the password is currently. Then you can change it to whatever you need.

My installer (who now longer is in the area) left me the software but I am concerned about using it and mucking things up. I don't think the system mailbox 70 password was changed from the default. Can you advise what the default might be? Thanks for all your help.

Board policy prevents us from posting passwords in the open forums (even default ones) for security reasons. Have you programmed your system before? PM sent.

Mailbox XXX also has supervisor access by default. You could try to log into that box and use the supervisor functions to reset your MB 70. The password may be the default.
Send this info by PM if you wish to share it.
