ok this is a strange one. We have a customer that has a FXII. Upon hanging up a call on say line 3 after 1 sec the line flashes as if it is going to ring.It keeps flashing untill you pick up the handset or hit spkr. and grab that line. After yoou do that it clears it untill another call comes in or you make another call.
any ideas?

Try swapping with a known good working phone and see if the problem moves, could be a hookswitch problem.

Thought of that but it is hapening on all 3 phones in the ringing group.

Are these display sets by chance and if they can you see what is on the display when it happens?

yes they are display sets and nothing shows on the display also if you pick up the flashing line there is nothing there it is like dead air

If these are loop start, swing your line to another port then try.
