I have a Comdial MP5000 with Keyvoice voicemail. I have one of my phone extensions that for whatever reason is not reachable when dialed externally.
I can reach that extension in a station to station call
I can reach this extension if I use the directory feature when calling externally
I cannot reach it if I simply dial that extension when calling externally.
Wierd.... Any help would be appreciated

When you say "dialed externally" do you mean an inbound call going through the auto-attendant? If this the case, the extension must have a voice mail box for the caller to ring the telephone. Also, make sure the "Transfer To" field is set to X. You might also compare the mailbox to a known working mailbox and note any differences.
What does a caller hear when dialing the unreachable extension?

Yes, I mean a call through the AA. The extension is det up with a VM box and the transfers are as you have suggested. As for the caller, they hear, please hold while I transfer you call to "users name". They do not receive any error messages, just dead air and the call is not transferred to the extension.
Thanks, Doug

Delete the mailbox, then add it. Re-record the name and greeting, then test again.
