is there a way to turn the ringer off on this phone? I sit in the back and make business calls and everytime the front desk gets a call it rings at my desk. i have the volume downbut it is still loud. It also rings while im on the phone.

What kind of Comdial system and phones do you have? There are literally dozens of different ones, just like Chevrolet cars and trucks.

That is the phone model not the system. I would have to say it must be either a DX-80 or DX-120.

Ringing on that system I believe is at installer level programming.

Where in PA are you, we can set you up with a good tech.

As a temp fix you can try to put the front station in Do Not Disturb.

If you hit the down volume button until the screen shows a 0 your ringer will be off for all calls, even ones that are transfered to you, but that might work for you. Otherwise it is installer programming to change answering positions.
