Hello.

I have a question about the MSN digit feature. Its MMC#421 in the manual.

Does this allow the phone system special features for inbound numbers which match up?

For example:

#1 Will it give you the ability to block in inbound calls
(example:Personal calls coming in on your 1-800 numbers,
telemarketer/employment agency trying to steal your employees)

#2 Give special treatment for VIP clients. If their number matches an MSN digit, you can route that call to your best employees's station, etc...

Please let me know if what I said is the intended purpose of the " MSN Digit feature.

Which system are you looking at?

I'm looking at the 500. I guess the MSN digit is something unique to the 500?

Release 1 or 2 on the 500?I looked at the release 2 manual and couldn't see what you were referring to.

I'm using release #1. I am not sure if Samsung phone systems are different for different countries?

Are you working with a PDF version of the manual? Try doing a search for "MSN".

Its strange because I don't see a description of this feature in the general description but only in the programing guide. Please let me know if you find it?

The only reference I see to it is some parameters on BRI circuit?
I don't think it will do what you are asking though.
