Hello.

I had kind of a crazy idea.

I was reading about the VOIP services such as Vonage(www.vonage.com)which give you a Adaptor box that you plug an Ethernet cable into and you can get a phone line with dial tone.

I was wondering if its possible to integrate Vonage on a trunk using the C1 Trunk card?

I am assuming that these Internet-to-phone adapters are leaving you with a analog phone line output which will work on a normal phone. Does this mean that there is a way to use that analog output to be installed on a C1 trunk card?

Is this something possible? Has anyone ever attempted or thought about this? Please let me know your ideas.

Thanks.

Hello.

I'm kind of looking for a yes or a no on if its possible to use VOIP on the C1 Trunk card?

I mean, I am not looking to replace my normal phone service, I am just looking to put some outbound calls over the VOIP lines.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible using a C1 trunk card on the Samsung system?

Thanks.

Calven,
Although I've never done it if it gives you regular tip and ring out of the box then there's no reason you couldn't hook it up to a trunk card.
