Can anyone help? A close friend of mine had the kpdcs 12b unit set up at his old office, on the move the system was re-set to default. As it was originally set up some time ago he cant remember how to set it up. I spent the best part of a day trying to figure it out too. Please help...
I get the message "All Trunks out of Service" when trying to dial 9 to get an outside line. We can receive calls no problem but making is another story.
Are there any basic settings I can set up to get the thing to let me dial out first of all?
Thanks in advance

Well if the system was at default usually all the trunks would be accessed by dialling 9.Is dialling 9 trying to access a trunk group or lcr?Trunks are assigned into the groups in mmc 603.

Thakns for the reply.I believe it is trying to access a Trunk Group which i guess is where the problem lies. LCR I believe is disabled by default and hasnt been changed. I did a MMC811 reset and clear memory thinking that would return everything to default and I could at least dial 9 to get outside line. but dialing 9 returns the "All Trunks Out of Service" message.
my next question is the rest I have done, would that return all settings to default or is there something external that I need to do?
second of all, we do not use the accounts feature or anything like that, its just a simple dial two handset system at this point. If I don't have Trunks assigned or groups assigned, and use LCR, is there anything I else I need to do.
Sorry for sounding like a doughnut, i am one in this case...
Cheers
