I think he's asking for the default 300 series extension for the built in modem which for example is 3999 on a 500 system. If its an external modem then its connected through a sli port and there is no "default" extension number.You would have to look up the extension number of the port it's connected to.

If you are going to use an external modem, make sure that it is a controller based modem. Samsung Tech support should have the modem configuration for the US Robotics modem.
