I inherited an old 1224. The installation company has been out of business for years. Normally I would just dump it and start over but I have real concerns about it coming up. Any back doors out there? Suggestions?

Thanx

its the same as the 56./120

same soft ware card its a card about as big as a post card covered in plastic
if you take it out and turn off battery
it should go to default
actually if you unplug power it will probably default as battery is old
then password will be factory
if you dont know the 56/120 entry
let me know and i will email it to you
it uses same phones as 56/120
there never were many out there and probably less now

If you have access to Samsung Tech support, they know of a back door to get you in without dumping the memory.

I know of a back door way but it requires the customer programing password. Is that the same one you are thinking of?

No - there is a backdoor way into all the systems via the handset without the need to know the technican or customer password.

This backdoor allows you to reset the password to default.

The password is not "fixed". If i recall it changes every hour.......

Gerrya I believe you and badger are talking about the same thing.

If i'm right you use the same procedure, except you know what it is based on a specific time and date.
