Right now my Prostar 816 Plus automatically picks up CO line 3 (for whatever reason) whenever I lift handset. Is there a way to lift a handset and not have any lines picked up?

I would like to be able to pickup handset and then make a decision on my own whether to dial outside line or extension.

If that is not possible, is there at least a way to make default Co line that is chose be line one instead of line 3?

Thanks,
Predrag

You would need to log into tech programming. MMC 83 is for Prime Line.

1.Dial the # Key
2.Dial 83
3.Press the DSS Key of the phone to be programmed.
4.Press your own DSS key to clear current programming.
5.Press # to exit.
