Hello.

Does the PCMMC version number have to match the system's version number?

I have the following:

1. PCMMC version 2.04
2. Samsung version 2.1 (iDCS L-version software release 1)

The software will not connect to the system even after the various settings.

Is this because of the 2.04 vs 2.1 issue?

Is there any known issues with PCMMC 2.04?

Thanks for your help.

You should always use the latest version of OSM to connect. That is what we were told this week by Samsung at the new product rollout.

Right now I have PCMMC version 2.04

Which version are they on now?

I know you Should always use the newest version when available but is there any serious issues with version 2.04 completely not working?

Thanks.

Samsung is not using PCMMC on the new systems anymore. It is called Office Serv Manager. The latest version for the launchpad is 1.02 and the latest version for the 500 R2 module is 3.07 and I believe the latest ver for the 500 R1 is 3.03.

When samsung comes out with new software that has new features, they have to redesign the OSM to allow programming of the new features. It is very important that you use the version of OSM designed for the software level that you have or it could lead to serious database corruption.

All of the latest OSM modules can be found at https://ebiz.samsungusa.com and go to the BCS portal. You will need your companies log in information to access the site.

Hi.

So will the Office Serv Manager possible corput the database if used on the Samsung version 2.1 (iDCS L-version software release 1)?

How do I know which is the correct PC-based programing software to use on Version 2.1 on the idcs 500 L-version software for release 1?

Thanks.
