Hi,
We have a Samsung DCS816 which has 3 live extensions working on it. 201 - Digi 202 - Digi 213 - Analogue Extension which accepts night time calls and records answer phone messages.
As we often have to divert all calls to our mobiles/cells, we have set up all incoming calls to ring on extension number 201 so we can simply div-ext from there and leave the office.
For some reason, incoming calls ring to 201 and if 201 is on the phone, they divert to 213, not 202.
Where do I look for changing this please as I have gone through the groups and class of service and cannot work out why 213 is next in line..
Any help very much appreciated.
Mike

Sorry, after reading my post, just to clarify,
Its when the phone system isnt diverted to external that we want it to then hunt to 202 rather than 213.
thanks...

How do you have mmc 406 set up?And if its a group (500-529) then look in mmc 601 and see how that group is set up.

Hi again PVJ,
In 406, I have set the incoming trunks to ring directly to ext 201 as I have to do this to get the div-ext to work to a cell phone off a single button.
In 601, the only two members in group 500 are 201 and 202. Group 501 has 213 as its only member and handles all calls when the switch goes into night service.
Any ideas?
Mike

Well if mmc 406 is set to 201 it could go somewhere else with call forwarding mmc 102. Check that one for ext. 201

OK, went into MMC102 and have done the following;
on Ext 201, I have set it to forward on busy to 202 and forward on no answer to 202. I made a call on 201, called in from my cell and it still rings on 213...
Strange...

Strange.Any chance you have a pc connected to it to program with?Just wondering if you can send me a copy of the programming to look at. What if 201 is on an call and you call 201 from 202.Does this also go to 213? The groups shouldn't be a problem as long as mmc 406 is set to a specific station.Did you check all the trunks in mmc406 ie 701 and 702 etc?

Hi PVJ,
Tried as you suggested above and the display on 202 shows that 201 is busy...

Well if it didn't forward when you called 201 from 202 then station call forwarding shouldn't be the issue.Did you check the ringing for all trunks in mmc 406?

Could station pairing be a factor here ? Check MMC 217 and see if 201, 202, or 213 have been assigned station pairing.
