I have a client with a Comdial DX-80. They want to add voicemail but don't want to shell out xxx for the flash VM card. Is there a cheaper solution? They just want a main greeting and some individual VM boxes.

you can put answering machines on the analog ports and use the AA card. or use answering machings that have multiple mailboxes on the analog ports and set the co line pre defined CF to go to the hunt group with the analog ports defined. From the price you quoted they must be buying on line and installing it themselves. Please read the posting information - prices like you quoted are not allowed on the open forum.
