Hi guys !
I have a couple DX-80 questions ...first , The customer wants no HOLD recall ..I went to Timing and set it to " 0 " which is supposed to deactivate the HOLD recall..it doesn't seem to work..it still recalls...any suggestions ?..

Second...Caller ID is activated on all lines from the CO...an Incoming line on a Idle phone shows caller ID , but if a second call comes in while someone is on the first , it just shows the CO-group , the customer would like all incoming calls to show ID as they come in...I can't find any prompts to allow this...
any suggestions would be welcome !
as always !
Thanks
jimmy the phone guy

Was it a hold recall or a hold reminder? Have to think about the cid issue!

Jimmy, regarding the Caller ID issue, have you confirmed that you definitely have CID on the second line? When all lines are idle and a call comes in on Line 2, do you see CID?

The Caller ID works on all lines ..but only appears on an Idle phone ...when someone is on a phone and a second call comes in ...it just shows the incoming CO group , not the Caller ID....?...I can't find anything in the Manual to allow ...?

It doesn't show multiple caller ID's. The phone must be programmed to ring to get any caller ID but once the set is in use it will display the current call and timing, but not a new call. The hold thing is your reminder setting. Default is 30 secs. I change it to 60 and set recall to 0 like you did.
