this is coming from one of my partners in crime. but i'll relate it as best as i can.

we have 3 different sites. all 3 of them have new 500's rel2. all of them are on a pri. all of them use the smvi16 to answer the calls & route them as needed. the pri's are through different co's. in different towns.

all 3 sites (and one site 2 times now), on the 1st channel of the pri the vm will not answer and will ring the 500 group forever until it IS answered. if someone does answer the call and transfers it to another phone (which is forwarded busy/no answer to vm) it will NOT go.

samsungs answer is to default and to just program the "basic" things needed for the system to run. not really possible. 1 location is a youth camp/retreat place that is staffed 24/7. another is a radio station. and the 3rd is a background checking company who is very weird about things.

we did default the radio station system (the day it opened...so it wasn't too busy). but the problem came back.

it only seems to happen on the rel2 stuff. the rel1 stuff hasn't had any problems.

i'll try to get some more specifics if needed. thanks!

Are the channels on the pri specified ?

eg do you have control of the data channel
and are the ringing channels set last to first or first to last?

I must admit I have never come across this one before so I am just throwing thoughts out there hoping one will stick.

do you have a way to monitor the channels?
