For some reason if I place some extensions (we'll say 2010,2011, 2012) into group (5003) which is setup as normal, uncondition ring, when calling that group, only 2011 and 2012 ring, .. now if i place the same members into group 5004 which has all the same settings as group 5003, it will ring all members...

Only thing I can think of is too many members in the group. I think you can have 32 members in a station group. Only other thing is make sure that no call forwarding is set.

Only extension 2010 doesn't work in group 5003, it works fine in any other group, there is only 3 members in group 5003. Groups don't follow station call forwarding rules. and unconditional rings don't have overflow or forwards.

The member may be logged out of the group, try entering 53+5003+1 at the phone to log into the group. If you have L version software the log in and out code may be different.

Unconditional rings will follow an overflow.

pvj, hmm, Samsung need to update there "Help"
. Ring Mode : Each group can have one of the following ring modes. This will decide how calls are placed to the group.
1. Sequential : The stations listed as “members†(see below) will be called on a first available basis. Calls will first go to the first member, if the first member is busy, calls will go to the second member, if the second member is busy, calls will go to the third member etc. This type of group is useful for placing the bulk of the incoming calls to a selected individual, with other members only getting the calls when the first member is busy. The number of members allowed for a sequential group is 48.
2. Distributed : The first call will go to the first member, the second call will go to the second member, the third call will go to the third member. This type of group is useful for evenly distributing the call among all group members. The number of members allowed for a distributed group is 48.
3. Unconditional : calls are placed to all group members simultaneously. This reduces the number of members of the groups to 32. If a group member is busy, they can receive off hook ring if defined in MMC 300. This ring mode option is not available for UCD or VMAA groups. The OVERFLOW/BUSY option is not available for unconditional ring mode.

And... If i setup vert ext # to forward off site (and verify by dialing said extension) and place this in the "Next Port" to ring said Extension number, and have the following set: group #5020 type:normal ring:uncondition overflow:005 sec grp trsf:000 sec next port:Virt Ext # member 01:2010 member 02:2011 member 03:2012 nxt hunt: 000 sec group busy:off
then call group 5020, and it will ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, until i get sick of it ringing... (two switches do the same, v2.44L and v2.48L)
now I am still having this problem on the other switch, the settings are the same for group # 5003, all members ring except 2010... And i can't find the "login" feature code.. (note: i am running the L version software)

Because Samsung didn't hire anyone to program it that way.
Paige finished up all the cable work for a Cisco install today and the only reason the 500 has to go away is that 48 members in a group is not enough for a 3 cabinet, 4 PRI system.
They want to sell you all this 3 cabinet stuff, but they don't want to hire the programmers to make large enough hunt groups to use the port power they build in. Samsung is really a penny wise pound foolish company. The stock holders are king, the customers are secondary.
Goodby huge iDCS 500 boxes, hello small more powerful Cisco server, goodby adds moves and changes, hello spare time.
