I have a customer with a point to point circuit between sites. I want to make certain that both audio and signalling are receiving the proper bandwidth under load.

Currently I am matching "prec 5" traffic with the qos map. I would prefer to setup an access list and match by source and destination ports. Does anyone know what ports are used by the IP card in these systems?

By default typically it's 2076 and 2077 for UDP and 2078 and 2079 for TCP.

We have QOS configured across the link (Thanks RFB!). I see packets are matching properly. It appears however that the two PBX's continue to lose connectivity with each other.

Here is a rough topology:

PRI>>Location 1>>Location1 IP card>>P2P >>Location2 IP card.

Location 2 will often drop calls and receive a message on the telephone stating "Line Error". It then takes about two minutes for this error to vanish.

During the outage, we are able to ping the IP cards on each side of the link without any ICMP drops.

Any further insight? I've requested their PBX vendor to contact Comdial/Vertical and conference me in the discuss the VOIP side in further detail.

What are they using for routers at each end? I've had to turn off SPI and allow anonymous internet requests so the boards can ping and acknowledge each other. The vendor can also pull status logs for VoIP errors.
