I used to have my phone set up to a night service button so I could transfer it to a mobile phone after pressing night service and presssing a button which connected to their mobile, something happened to the phone system and everythng went dead, when I brought the phones back to life I have now lost all the one touch keys programming, it no longer shows me if someone is on another extention from another phone and i can't transfer to the mobile.
I have rang the company who I boguht the phone from and there gonna charge me £85 + vat to send an engineer out but when it first got done I'm sure they done it from end....does anyone (well make sense of this) or know if I can possibly do it from my computer.....
You are my last hope..
Cheers

what system is it ?
the info you gave is for a phone model?
I sent you a pm looking for more info but please keep in mind that this programming is going to cost weather you have your techs out or we get in remotely.
I dont want to discourage you but the programming needed here is major work and really is installer/ programmer only.

Your "night service" button is actually a "call forward external" button where you once put in the forwarding number and then just toggle the button on and off to keep the calls at your phone or send them to your mobile phone. Please use the "call forward external" term as asking for night service would get you programming you do not want and would not send calls to your mobile phone.
The one touch buttons are what is generally called DSS buttons, Direct Select Station buttons and can be used to intercom that person or see if that person is on the phone.
If you have a modem setup, your service company can dial into your system at far less expense than sending a technician over in the rain and getting water spots on the Rolls.
The UK systems have much the same programming, but not identical. You might want to ring up a couple dealers and ask them how much they would charge you to walk you through setting up a call forward external button and some DSS buttons on your phone. They may or may not want to do that, but when I sell a system, I do this over the phone instead of sending a tech out. If they can call me on a cell phone and push the buttons on a display phone, I would rather spen five minutes on the phone and have good will rather than have one of my customers very unhappy at paying a service call for five minutes work.
If you do have someone come out, get them to install a modem so further programming is a quick dial instead of a trip to your site.

if you want to do it on a specific extension then do transfer 102; 1 for all calls; 9 plus the number; then transfer. Just remember to reset it for nornal operation during the day
