Customer has forgotten, the main Programmers password on the Starmail, Admin pw ok, but can't get into the higher end programs. Anyone know how to backdoor or reset it back to default? Samsung support not very helpful.

The default password is in the Starmail Install manual, did you not find it there?

We emailed back and forth and those std 3 -digits dont work I never Knew of a backdoor

If I remember, if you take the analog 2 station card in the system and plug into the top slot of the Starmail, that defaults the "Whole system". Never tried it. That unit was made by ESI, so maybe they might have something on the ESI Board.

That is long discontinued product so Samsung may support it if you call them and they give you the 900 number to call for a support ticket and then you call them back.
You could call ESI at 1-800-374-0422 and ask them if there is a back door before you pay Samsung. They don't sell the StarMail to Samsung any more but don't service it either. At least they could tell you if there is a back door.
The above post by phonman123 is correct, put either an analog or 816 card in the slot farthest away from the bottom panel where the power plugs in and the red led lights up and power up, wait for it to stop initializing (about 5 minutes) and power down. Move the card to the slot closest to the bottom where the red led is and power up.
Wait at least five minutes for it do its thing and start from scratch. Good luck, this ain't all fun.
