Is there a way of using activity codes on the officeserv 500 system? (When a call comes in or an external call is made to have the ability to enter a code on the phone to show what the activity is?)

We could use account code for outgoing calls but I don't think these would apply for incoming calls.

As far as I know there are no activity codes for incomming calls. Though if your looking to track calls consider some call accounting software. You will need to turn on incomming SMDR though for it to work.

Once the call is answered you could press an account button programmed on your phone and enter in an account code.

You can set the output of the SMDR port to a printer or to a computer with call accounting software.

Plus you should be able to do a cid inquire on another set if you just wanted that information
