I have a customer with an iDCS500 R1 and the problem is that when they leave a message on a personal mailbox the phone doesnt start flashing and showing that they have a message for like 24 hours. Any idea why this is happening?

It is an SVMi-8 with a hard drive.

Couple of things. Verify the time and date...leave a message for an extension and monitor the log file for delivery...i think that there is a alternate delivery time that's programmable instead of immediate

Just a thought , you may want to check what time the Voicemail system does daily "house keeping/maintenance routines" . Change the time to coincide when you are onsite and see if the lamps turn on then . If they do you may need to do a TFix or a Defrag .I hope this helps

Have you looked at disk usage to see how full?
Any chance there would be a huge number of mailboxes that no one thought they were building.
Just guesses but worth a short, free look.
