Think of it as a benefit instead of a problem. People get a rest break when the voicemail is down. Wouldn't you like to have a few more breaks?

*Possibly* we have a solution. (I considered inserting the dancing "instant graemlin" here, but at this point I'm more cautiously relieved than celebratory).
We took a shotgun approach and replaced the card (in case it was a hardware problem) and reprogrammed from scratch (in case it was a database problem). The Samsung technician surmised the problem was related to underlying data corruption and suggested that only reprogramming would solve it, since migrating the current software and data to another card would also carry the data corruption with it.
We've had it in for about a week now without a glitch. It's a hassle because people lose stored messages, greetings, spoken names, etc. and have to redo everything. But, that's the price.
Thanks for all the suggestions and thoughts. Hopefully this is the FINAL posting from me on this subject. :toast:
