all my phone says is VER V2.1 if i prest some of the keys it says start self test. # to next test. but it is like locked or something.
any idea's

You have voltage but it doesn't see the system. I hope all your phones do not display that. Is this one of the phones you moved? It might be 1/2 pair off on the punch block.

It sounds like a phone problem, you can plug another phone in to check but it needs to be the EXACT type of phone or you will end up with default button mapping.

Unplug it from the wall jack and plug it back in.Make sure that there aren't any buttons stuck down.

If only one lead of the two wires going to the jack are connected you will get the version display. Probably either a wiring issue or a bad base cord.

Then there is a serious system problem.
But in this case its probably a bad phone (it hit the floor)

Sounds like you don't have a UPS on the system and the power gets restored enough to start the upload of the database and drops out. You are not getting constant power. If you power off the systems and restore the power after the storm, do they load correctly? If they do invest in a $125.00 APC unit. A power surge can also come thru the co lines. Add surge/lightning supressors to the RJ21x and make sure the system is grounded
