Could anyone point me to the SVMi-20E manual. Cannot find it on either www.samsung-telecoms.co.uk or I have a 7200 in house and i'm trying to setup the email forwarding of voicemail and faxes. I have followed steps from the SVMi-8/16 but have problems entering in the Host ID under page 4 of the Standard MCLASS What info do I put in as it only allows a standard ip address 195.154.9.69 and not smtp.email.co.uk I pinged my smtp and entered the ip that came back but it still wont work. My emails are pop3 accounts as we don't have a mail server of our own. Any ideas Thanks edited : I edited out the second link as it is for authorized dealers. Thanks for understanding

Start with getting some info on the e-gateway. Then talk to your IT department to see if they can handle the extra storage and traffic. I would encourage you to contact a sales engineer to help you go thru all of this. It can be very involved. You will have license's to consider also which is a $$ item. The basic license when you buy the application will give you only 5 people. It's a great tool!

Hi, do you activate the Email Gateway function ? Pls note that you need an authentication to smtp server, like user and pass. Also check for this user relaying allowed on your smtp. should work.

Reply code 501 is to be used to reject a MAIL FROM or RCPT TO command that contains a detectably improper address. Cold you be more specific about your programming and where you add the addresses, SYSTEM WIDE parameters ,MCLASS ,MAILBOX and so on .

Choose a smtp where which support authentification, with username and pass. this will work. I have had the same experience, it was not possible to sent mails from voicemail from an smtp with no authentification.
