Customer has music playing through his phone. After using one of the CO lines, hangs up and when the music comes back on it is much louder. F17 software. Any ideas?

The DX has never worked very well in this regard. I'm surprised your customer listens to the music on the phone, it's so distorted and the volume varies so much it grates on the ears. The 120 seems to be worse in this regard. Also the early phones (I can't remember the release) had terrible speakerphone audio. Comdial was replacing them for free but I'm sure that program has ended.

Software upgrades will not change this.
