Just thought I would share my recent success of making a VoIP Off Premises eXtension.
I now have an extension from my office connected at my house using a Sipura 3000 at the office and my VoIP Enabled modem at home.
I have been able to configure it to call the phone locally at home on the groups, via DID and have been very impressed with the quality.
The FXO connects to an SLI on the system for VoIP to PSTN passthru, but I have also been able to dial into a DISA trunk via a VoIP ATA which means one way access is also possible if you don't want to spring the $80USD odd for an FXO capable ATA.
Cheers. *Huzzah*

Yes an IP phone would work just as well and remove the need for an ATA. In this case thou, i have an dual FXS ATA built into my Billion 7404VGO. Next step is to link my DCS 200 with the DCS 70 and see if I can get the two dancing.. this will be fun!
